Dr Makayla McKinnon is an extremely caring, supportive and knowledgeable Doctor. She has supported me through my health issues in a way that I know that everything has been comprehensively investigated and dealt with. The practice is well set up, the nursing staff are lovely too and they have had a great response to covid which has ensured my doctor and other key staff are still well to support me or my family as needed.

I booked my 8 month old baby in as she had a lingering cough at day 8 which i really just wanted her chest checked. Negative for Covid. I got to our appointment and the doctor would not see my baby. The other doctor clinic which is a tad further see patients unless positive for Covid. Then to hear the doctor is private also at Lockridge and charges no matter if a baby. They’ve just lost us there altogether now.I wish I just booked her at the other clinic to begin with.

They refuse to give 6 months vaccine to my daughter as we don’t have a Medicare card. I have called to immunisation Australia and they said it’s free wether you are Australian citizen or temporary visa holder. On appointment booking time they ask all the questions but not letting you know these things and ended up to paying consultation charge without checking my daughter.

Booked an appt for my 2 year old and was called over 2 hours after booking to be informed that particular doctor doesn’t bulk bill even for children. I need my child to be seen by a doctor but they couldn’t even tell me what I would end up paying. The previous reviews about this clinic only caring about money seem to be seriously accurate, imagine going through medical school and deciding instead of using your training to look after sick children you would rather gauge money out of stressed parents instead.

terrible doctors surgery, refuse to see patients that are sick, usually thats why people go to the doctors. They only care about getting payment (88$ for an over 5 minute call). definitely do not have there patients wellbeing at the forefront of there mind.

Worst place ever. Went there yesterday with my kid as he had a chest and ear infection and had a slight cough. The lady at the counter told me he can't see a doctor due to this but will charge me $50 for a phone call with the doctor. How the hell the doctor would be able to assess over the phone?? Ended up leaving and going somewhere else. Should have read the reviews before going there. Its all about the money. Oh by the way, have some decent reception nist who have common sense!

I have been attending this clinic for about 30 years and have always had excellent service from medical and non medical staff.

This clinic is very nonsense. Not treating me well. My daughter was very sick, and when there was not even a single case of corona in Perth, they treated me as if I had returned from the corona center.I will not go back there even if I am on my deathbed and there is no other doctor besides this clinic.

If Kayla McKinnon is going to prescribe an old age pensioner medication that costs $35 for one week's supply for pain relief, then I feel this should have been discussed with the patient during the consult to see if this was going to be a concern, and if so, if there was some alternative available. It should not have to occur that the patient rings up to find out why a PBS prescription has been prescribed as private and told by the CLERICAL STAFF that it is private because it is for pain relief" on PBS when the patient has fractured ribs and is left wondering why the diagnosis of fractured ribs should not be considers as eligible for "pain relief".I think some type of explanation is necessary to the patient FROM THE DOCTOR NOT THE CLERICAL STAFF.!!!Awaiting a response."

i have had multiple issues with this place to a dr actually flipping out at me and being incredibly rude because i didnt share the same view on masks. To my appointment being cancelled without notice because apparently i have a ban on my file because my last appointment i asked to see the nurse, not a dr as i had already seen a dr to get my script from that very practice i just needed a nurse to give my my injection. so they annoyingly booked me with a dr and i explained to the dr i dont need to see a dr just a nurse, nothing had changed im healthy etc. she said i need to take a pregnacy test. i said why? she said my injection was overdue. i explained its a waste of my time and yours because its going to be negitive she refused me and i asked if i can see another dr then. the receptionist told me to wait so i did. i got called my the nurse only to be told i need to see a dr as they cant give it to me without the conscent of a dr.These drs must have gotten their medical certificate of a cereal box.highly encourage going to a different dr's practice
